This page explains, in plain terms, what ListingMarketingCost.com collects and why. ListingMarketingCost.com is an independent estimating tool and educational resource. It is not affiliated with any MLS, brokerage, real estate board, or listing portal. Estimates are based solely on the inputs you provide. This site does not guarantee sale price, buyer interest, number of showings, days on market, lead volume, or any specific savings.
What we collect
- Calculator inputs. The numbers you enter run in your browser to produce your estimate. They are only sent to us if you submit a form asking us to follow up.
- Form details. If you submit a form, we receive the details you provide (such as email, role, market, listing type and your note), the page you submitted from, your estimate if you ran the calculator, and basic context such as referrer and any UTM tags from your link.
- Analytics. We use privacy-conscious analytics (Google Analytics 4 and PostHog) to understand which pages and features are useful. Analytics do not run on local or preview environments.
How we use it
We use form details to follow up with you manually about your request. We use analytics in aggregate to improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored in a private spreadsheet used for manual follow-up. Analytics data is processed by Google and PostHog under their terms.
Your choices
You can use the calculator without submitting anything. If you have submitted a form and want your details removed, contact us and we will remove them. You can block analytics with browser settings or extensions.
